Dear Peter,

Have you seen this?  I'm not yet wildly impressed with the concept, and not yet convinced that we need yet another mission-oriented social networking site, but it could be worth it to add it to SocialActions.com.

Warm regards from Deborah

I thought you might be interested in this new fundraising
platform that's launching soon. It's called Remarkd.com and it's a much
easier system to use with lower transaction fees than eBay's Missionfish.

So when your supporters are cleaning out their garages, some or all of
the money they sell can go to your organization.

Signing up for the beta program allows buyers and sellers to choose your
non-profit for donations when making transactions in our marketplace.
Remarkd is also integrated with social networking -- non-profits that sign up
will also appear in social networks like Twitter, Facebook and others
as buyers and sellers notify their friends automatically of purchases
in Remarkd.

It's free for non-profits to sign up. Here's the link:
http://www.remarkd.com/join.html

Check it out (there's a nifty video on the homepage) and let me know
what you think.

I'd love to get your advice on how to spread the word so as many
nonprofit causes can take advantage of this as possible.

The founders are also open to hearing from non-profits and causes how
Remarkd can work best for you so send in your ideas. For example,
they'll be offering donor data downloads as .CSV files.

Thanks, Cheryl

Hi Deborah,

Thanks for forwarding this link. Remarkd.com is unique. While i
wouldn't include them as a social action platform, they could make for a
nice affiliate partner and certainly deserver a blog entry.

All the best,
Peter
