concurrence with those and some additional thoughts:

Slide 3: Consider moving 3rd paragraph about looking for a fiscal
sponsor and place as 1st paragraph in slide 7.

Slide 6: The "Everyone a Philanthropist Fund" sounds intriguing;

Great job, Peter. My comments:
slide 1 - does the sponsor need to have a presence in C & USA? or just one?
'and' is used multiple times in the desk so would be good to clarify one way
or the other
slide 3 - i would change the word 'consultants' to 'contractors' because
often times there are connotations with the word consultant when it involves

Hi all,
I have prepared the attached slideshow as an introduction to Social
Actions and a request for fiscal sponsorship. In some circles, this
kind of thing is called a 'deck'. By fiscal sponsorship, I am referring
to a registered organization that can serve as the legal and
administrative home for Social Actions. This is not a grant proposal.

Hi all,
If you get a chance, check out this podcast I did with Kare Anderson of
the "Moving from Me to We" podcast. Our conversation ended up focusing
on the development of a widget for "Related Ways to Take Action". As it
turns out, Joe and Eric are about to embark on creating such a widget.

I really think that the constructive collaboration of the SA groups at large
has been tremendous and I am really pleased and honored to be a part of it.

Amy, I emailed a reply but it didn't copy here, so am re-stating for
the record: feels great to have your positive feedback. Peter gets
lots of kudos for how this document is evolving, too, for keeping it
to the point, and especially for the final terms of collaboration. My
style tends towards either really legalese-specific or touchy-feely

The document has a new name -- Social Actions Platform Endorsement --
to more accurately reflect its purpose, and a paragraph at the start
that explains what that purpose is.

Keep the revisions/feedback/questions coming on the text *and* purpose
description!

- Launching the DonorsChoose wordpress module
- Making introductions with all of the platforms we're working with

Thumbs up from me, Peter, on the creation of those two groups. Reminds
me to post an invite, too, to join the Platforms Group on the blog.

Picturing that as a place where platforms specifically can engage in a
conversation about their experiences with the Social Actions search
interface and open API, and about broader issues that both concern
