Hello all,

I was wondering if it was possible to do multiple - multiple word
searches with the match=all parameter. So, I have several items I want
to search for in one query but any of them could have multiple words.
Here's an example: "Environmental activism" "save the dolphins"
"fisheries" "whaling is bad" . My first instinct is to put those in
the search query like this: search.socialactions.com/actions.json?
q="Save%20the%20dolphins"%20"fisheries"%20"whaling%20is
%20bad"&match=any. I was just wondering if that sort of query would
be achieving what I want.

Thanks,
Dieterich

Hi Dieterich,

Good to hear from you. Yes, I believe the query you proposed would work.
You can always test it out on search.socialactions.com, which produces
the same results as a JSON or ATOM query.

We may be switching up the indexing engine on the SAAPI for something
more robust, which I believe could also affect the search results. We'll
post a message to the SA-DEV list if such changes get added to the
product roadmap.

Perhaps you can join us on Friday, 9/25 at 2:00pm ET for the next Social
Actions developer call, and fill us in on what you've been working on. I
hope you're doing well.

All the best,
Peter
