The Indian and the Buffalo
An Indian walks into a cafe with a shotgun in one hand, pulling a
male buffalo with the other.
He says to the waiter: "Want coffee."
The waiter says, "Sure, Chief. Coming right up."
He gets the Indian a tall mug of coffee.
The Indian drinks the coffee down in one gulp, then turns and
blasts the buffalo with the shotgun, causing parts of the animal
to splatter everywhere. And then he just walks out.
The next morning the Indian returns. He has his shotgun in one
hand, and is leading another male buffalo into the cafe with the
other.
He walks up to the counter and says to the waiter: "Want coffee."
The waiter says "Whoa, Tonto! We're still cleaning up your mess
from yesterday! What was all that about, anyway?"
The Indian smiles and proudly says ...
"Training for position in United States Congress: Come in, drink
coffee, shoot the bull, leave mess for others to clean up, then
disappear for rest of day."

Lol! This is a very funny, very funny joke. I am not into politcs but
it still made me laugh. I think it is even more funny that I believe
that this is what members of the United States congress actually do.
Seeing as I do not work with many, I can not say that I know this for
sure, but past events can pull me to believe that they do exactly
this. Especially leaving mess for others to clean up. And by others I
assume it is us "taxpayers" who have the job of janitor. Congress
pushes forth ideas that are beneficial to them at the time. I'm sure
that some of the ideas are beneficial to the country as a whole,
however, most laws and legislatures being put into action have no real
relevance to us, although we seem to be the one "cleaning up the mess"
when all is said and done. I find this to be quite strange.

I think the BEST way for legislators to "justify their jobs" would
be for them to prove that they can be ABOVE passing SPECIOUS
laws and rules. Especially the WASTEFUL* and REPRESSIVE** ones.
