I scarcely know where to start,
I barely know what to say,
The time seems so right now,
As a beginning...I'm not gay.
They say it was my mind,
That decided this thing,

And discuss it all while taking a walk.
It all seems so natural,
As the two of us spoke,
That is when it happened,
My heart had awoke.

And wiped away the tears,
"My Darling, please be my friend,
And preserve all of our years".
She seems so different,
She smiled and began,
I found a friend in a woman,
Who used to be a man.

Well I must admit I am normally more polite, and maybe it's a mistake to go on Usenet
when one has had a few drinks because I tend to say exactly what I think in a totally
uncompromising way. Well I can't take it back now even if I wanted to and it would be
dishonest in any case, and sometimes the truth is unpleasant.
No I don't hate you, I just think presenting pretentious corny, florid, camp poetry
on a transgender forum in an attempt to consolidate a fantasy that you are some kind
of woman truly sucks.
If you were truly a woman or a talented poet for that matter you wouldn't be trying
to consolidate a fantasy and you wouldn't have what seems to be a very masculine view
of women and womanhood, since you tend to abuse the label by using it as an excuse
for bad art.
The fact of the matter is there is no excuse for bad art, and using womanhood or even
your transgenderism as an excuse for your shortcomings as a poet (as if you are some
kind of victim) is insulting to all women. Not to mention pretentious and egotistical
in the extreme more like the actions of a camp dilettante some kind of amateur.
I can assure you I don't hate you I'm just as tough on myself. There is never an
excuse for bad art and if you take your womanhood or your art seriously stop abusing
it. This is exactly the sort of thing that gives trannys a bad name. Do yourself a
favour stop acting like a wannabe, you might find people will start taking you a bit
more seriously as a woman and a poet

What you both fail to understand is that being African American and living in
the United States of America is as much of my reality as being transgendered.
For me and for other people of color these two experiences are inseparable.
It is not a matter of playing "the race card." That's simply a phrase use by
bigots to reassert the delusion that we are all the same and that we are all
equal. That's the delusion.
You and Riki can apply for a job and never concern yourself with the fact that
you might not be hired simply because of your skin color. You can apply for a
mortgage and not worry about being charged a higher rate solely because of your
ethnicity. You can go to a doctor and not be concerned that your treatment
will be inferior solely because you are a person of color. And, you can walk
up to a cosmetic counter and not watch a sales clerk who has clearly seen you
walk in the opposite direction to avoid waiting on you.
These are things people like Riki and Karen might never experience. However,
the unfortunate reality is that millions of people experience various forms or
racism and bigotry on a daily basis.
So, you see, we are not all the same.
Not a single African American has ever dragged a white man down a country road
until he was decapitated. So, again, my fears are different from your fears.
So, please don't ever suggest that the only real issue is being transgendered
or transsexual. For you, perhaps that's not true. If it's every true for
people of color, I'll be the first to let you know.

To reiterate my point ... yes racial predjudice exists however that does
not make someone disgreeing with a person who belongs to a discriminated
group (and i belong to a few discrimated against goups BTW) a bigot ...
particulary in an online forum when no one's race is known ... A person
who is accusing others of being a bigot in such a case is either not
thinking, or is trying to use their membership a in discrimated group to
justify their own bad behavior .. and the latter *is* "playing the race
card".
On transgen I watched you exhibit such behavior and mentioned it here
... your response to that was telling me about the discrimination that
those of your racial background have to endure ... which while all true,
is not relavant to the situation i was refering to. Calling people
bigots for no good reason is never justified and is also very racially
divisive...
All you had to do was admit to a mistake and say something like :
"Yes i was wrong when i did that as what was happening was not racially
based... I jumped to that conclusion because of having experienced a lot
of racially motivated discrimination in 3D"
It would have shown how much you had grown and you would have come out
