Again this happened in early 2000. Anyone can lose their job. Not that
it should matter to the sociopaths of SSFA, but I am a technical
recruiter. In early 2000, I could not get a job in my field and my
savings was evaporating very fast. Anybody can have financial hardship

I have a situation that could use some practical help. It is a long story
but here are the highlights.
I am a technical recruiter with 16 years of experience living in the Dallas
area. I am open to relocation for the right position as long as I have help
to move there. I am also open to remote (virtual) positions so long as as
there is a draw or salary involved (those are rare but they do exist.)
I completed my contract on Friday, 6 June 2008 (fitting that it should end
on the anniversary of D-Day). Two days earlier, I had reported that I was
being stalked on Usenet (going into 8 years) and that this time, the
stalkers has brought company information into the Usenet group that I
frequent and asking questions like "Is Bobbi Sanchez worthy to work for____
due to her "racist" attitudes?" Other things are posted that anyone can
"google." I reported this due to the fact that one of my candidates did a
search on my name in Google, and came up with all this garbage and he send
it to me. If this hadn't happened, I would have kept it to myself and fight
it privately like I have been doing for the past 8 years.
I believe that their supervisor that let me go was told to do so by higher
management becuase that is one way to be rid of trouble: the company's
reputation remains intact and the "trouble" (me) is eliminated. I have
become a throw-away human being.
The bottom line here is that I need a position. I do not feel that my
former employer made the right decision. I feel that they could have talked
to me about this and referred me to a company lawyer to strategize how to
put an end to this.
Again. I am a recruiter with 16 years experience. There has to be someone
out there who wants to hire me and will judge me for my contribution
potential and not what happens in cyberspace. By the way-that is the reason
for the group referenced in my signature line.
