So IIRC you like thud, and it seems to me that Tobie likes thud, so ...
she could have a taste of her own toys, perhaps? That bamboo type cane
seems like one, the one that has the sort of segments all the way up.
Hmmm, and she's so fond of that twisty acrylic thing, shouldn't she try
that?
But I'm going to guess that a good flogger would be truly enjoyable for
both of you.
Gee, maybe you could work Phillip into the scene too? Not as a bottom
taking strokes, but just to distract Tobie in the nice way, perhaps just
playing with his wabbly bits while she takes it.
Or is that too mean, or out of context?
I'm still working on the whole thought of Tobie bottoming, though; I
have a feeling she's going to be trying to run the show!

Heh. I know them both (albeit not as well as I might like).
I feel no reserve about suggesting ways to hurt her in public; they
will both enjoy it immensely, I think.
Mosty, I wish I had better ideas!
-- Troia
Ideas, ideas.... Oh, yes, I have ideas. There is almost always
another idea knocking about in the back of my head. The difficulty
is that I am too far removed to feel at ease in voicing them, even
though I have read Tobie's scene reports and believe I know just a
bit about what might get to her.
Far better to consult with Philip, it seems to me. But it is
_tempting_ to think of suggesting that you could....
No, I should not say more; others doubtless will have many
ideas to share. Just have fun!

As some of us were willing to buy her by committee (we had at least
three of us pooling our money), perhaps we should torture her by
committee as well. You know, share her around a bit.
My daddy is looking for a pincushion, and I don't do needles, so
borrowing Tobie could work out for us quite nicely.

description was being read, I said, very loudly from across the room,

I really did not expect you to do that. When you said you were going

This is going to be fun.
I told myself that if the winning bid was over $50, and if I knew the
person and liked them, I'd let them go to safeout if they wished so
I'll grant you that, if you want it.
There have been requests for you to do this in public as there are a
few who'd like to watch but that's up to you. It's your prize lady, do

It's not about me, it's about the purchaser getting what they want.
I don't have to like it for this scene to happen, she's simply got to
want to do it, and it's got to be on the list of things I'm willing to
do.
I'm not going to discuss things I'm not willing to do, I think it's
all too common sense to bother with it. She can do ever what she
wants, I respect her as a member of the local community, I respect her
as a person and I like her as a friend.

It was VERY hard for me to do that. I had the shakesso bad earlier in
the evening that I spilled my soda on the clothes I was wearing and
had to find something else to wear down there.
There is a very scary lack of control in being auctioned off!

Wow.
And probably couldn't get as hot-and-bothered about it as some of us
submissive types might, I wonder? For me, the not-having-control can be
very provocative, and I've read enough discussion posts from other subs
who have said that auctions were their hottest fantasies (or for those
who had, past experiences).
My only fear with an auction would be on not getting bid up enough, but
the overall goes-to-the-high-bidder fantasy is probably a whole lot more
appealing for those of us who like to relinquish control, than for
someone like you who tends to be busy fine-tuning their own control as
well as their abilities to control the responses of others.
So ... that brings me to .... did you get any thrill out of it, at least
after-the-fact? Or does it just feel like "good fun" to you?

I was listening to that last night.
"What if so and so gets me?"
I sure hope that X doesn't get me!"
and so on...
I was MUCH less concerned with who got me than I was on not being bid
on.
Philip asked if there was anyone he needed to make sure he out bid and
I said: "No, why? I'm not going to do anything I don't want to do so
who is doing it isn't an issue." That seemed to put him back in his
own comfort zone.
I always have control in a scene, whether I'm topping or bottoming.
Besides, no top worth their weight in leather is going to want a scene
they paid for to be a instant safecall.

I don't like humiliation. Not in play, not in day to day. Placing
myself on public display for what could have very easily become a very
public humiliation scene was gut wrentchingly painful. I put on a
mostly game face though once we hit the doors and Philip was the only
one who knew I was feeling quite barfy over the whole thing.
After it was over I did take a few minutes to suck some comfront in
Cecilias arms. I'm pretty sure she had a clue, no matter how well I
was trying to hide it.

I got a big thrill out of the limits push.
I broke a personal limit, I brought money for a local club that does
good things, and I get to play with a friend who is going to make sure
it's something I'll remember for quite some time I'm sure!
I'm *thrilled* that it had such a good outcome.
Philip was very tired by the endof the auction and so we left early.
He had spent so much energy trying to send off calming good stuff to
me that it wore him out!
At this point it's just all good and I can't wait to see what my
winner has in mind for me!

Of course if a true sadist was involved, then no warm up would be allowed
and some kind of task to be performed is a very effective way to stop the
botoom getting to comfortable or indeed floating at all, but I'd not suggest
such a think in this context unless it was a shared goal merely for the

Its all in the attitude. Some things can surprise you by your own reactions

My understanding is that he knows what he's doing already. I'm going by
stories he's told me, which I can confirm with mutual friends, if you
like. I don't do needles in any way, shape or form outside of flu
shots, so I have no way of knowing firsthand.
See, I tell him that all the stuff I don't like is for the "scary sex

I suggest it really is about you. Despite saying it was not about
you, you went through with the auction; you faced down your fears; you
stepped to the edge of the abyss and stared into its depth; having done
so, you came back overjoyed, triumphant, thrilled. And that made the
first half, which was mostly mental, a success.
Now you are preparing yourself for the next half, and that is
about you as well, except in the physical sense. I expect you will
get your senses overloaded to their maximum and beyond. And when you
make it back down to earth, I imagine you will write about that part
just about as joyfully as you wrote in these two posts, irregardless
[1] of the exact form your scene takes.
I, for one, shall read with interest.
-----
[1] Irregardless ain't in most dictionaries, but it is a fine old
word, and I use it as I choose. :-)
