I just happen to look through the posting stats for October. Three posts.

Not that I've been very helpful for the last few months. Actually, I
keep switching computers, so I never know if I'm going to have Usenet
access.

Anyway, autumn is coming on this side of the planet. Hope anyone out

I'm back in college and still working, so I'm super-busy, but I still
check Usenet every day.

ObSex: Horny boyfriend dragged me into the bedroom yesterday, and it
wasn't even Saturday! (We've been so busy it seems like we only have sex
on Saturdays.)

I lost power for a freakin' week last week. A freak Nor'easter dropped a
foot of snow on southern New England, and since the leaves were still on
the trees, the weight made thousands of branches snap - the sound was
like gunshots all night long.

It was fun for two or three days. After that it was just cold, dark, and
frustrating.

Yeah, I read about it. There was one of those in the pacific NW about 15
years ago the week before Thanksgiving. Only it was ice - 3 inches of
ice on the trees, heavier than snow. Some places were without power for
over a week. Where I was it was on the colder side of the front and we
had a foot of snow.

Well, I'm still around but I don't get over here very much.

Worse, I'm getting set to retire. If that doesn't remind one
of time passing I don't know what does.

They hate to spend money.

My guess is that they'll ask to raise rates to pay for it.

Neat game. They get to raise rates for NOT supplying you with
electricity.

Neither. For some reason once activity died down here, I quit
reading my Road Runner account. I likely missed all your emails.

I'm not QUITE retired yet. End of the academic year. I always
knew I'd know when it was time. It was time.

Sometimes. It isn't the Village where everything was nearby.
I'm in an area that is changing. High rises going in and so
on. The recession has slowed all that though.

I'm in an older building, a co-op. They are a New York thing.
But the place suits me. There's even an extra room I am using
for an office.

And yes, I'll probably get into trouble. I've been lucky so
far.

We had snow and 20s, it's warming up to nearly 50 lately, but that won't
last. If you guys in the east are having unseasonable weather, that just
means you're going to get it after New Years, and we'll be milder. Usually.

But not enough fun. We started at a party in somebody's apartment.
It was hot and crowded, so we (the girl I met at the party) decided
to go for a walk. I don't recall exactly how we ended up in the
snowbank (I think she slipped and fell down). It was a long time
ago.

I also recall, after I'd gotten back to my rooming house (Ohio
State at that time had almost no men's dorms) I wondered what
the hell I was thinking at the time. But I distinctly recall
that I was aware that she and I definitely wanted the same
thing up until the practicalities interfered.

By the way, how do Eskimos reproduce? ;-)
