Straight Woman Packing?

of the information was directed to the FTM community, I did find one
passing mention of straight women packing. I was wondering if this was
a common occurrence or well-known occurrence. Since I can't find any
further information aside from that passing reference, I've had no
luck in my searches, but I thought maybe someone in the community
could provide more insight. Have you heard of straight women packing?
Is there any information sources available about it?

I pack, my straight friends pack, my bi friends pack. My mother taught me to
pack well. Then I saw a show that taught me to roll my clothes not fold
them...wonderful, it's the only way I pack now. Whats the mystery about

Sara Palin packs an M-16 while hunting moose. I don't know how many
shotguns she packs in her pickup truck, though.
She also packs a bunch of dresses and jackets for various occasions.
How they all fit in her allowed baggage, I do not know. Maybe she
pays the overweight.

And I am clueless about the subject...the only reason I have any clue
what is being asked is because the OP posted this question a few days
back on another newsgroup (SSG)...maybe someone pointed her here.

For the benefit of SSG, which has reacted pretty cluelessly to this:
packing: wearing a prosthetic penis. Think of the airport scene in
"This is Spinal Tap".
soft packing: non-functional packing to make a woman dressing as a man
look properly filled out up front.
hard packing: functional prosthetic, think strap-on.
There's some toys out there that borderline work for both, "pack and
play", for the on-the-go lifestyle.
FTM: female to male trans-person. Also "F2M".
I don't know anything about straight women packing, but maybe the
ones really into peging (women fucking men up the ass) do it.
As a guy, FTM is totally fascinating to me. I'd love to have locker
room chats with some of those guys, but I'm afraid I'd come off as
some sort of pervert.

Packing hard leading to pegging I totally can see, but I'm still
wondering about packing soft. Hmm, ponder ponder.
(It's interesting, as I go into different arenas, how totally
different everyone's experiences/exposures are to sexuality. And I
always learn something from every one of these types of discussions;)

Same here. And frankly, I have not the slightless idea why a straight
woman would want to wear a penis imitation under her clothes.
There are plenty of reasons why a woman would want to wear men's
clothes:
-some are more practical, especially for physical work
-carneval
-some women dress masculinely, because they do not want to be the
subject of attraction for men or because they want to be discrete
-a friend of mine borrowed one of my suits once when she was attending
a seminar on men and women differences (it was part of an exercise on
understanding men, she said she hated wearing a tie)
-tall women may not find their size in the women section.
But none of this reasons would lead to "packing".
Last but not least: wouldn't the prospective partner be disappointed
when you "unpack"? ;)

She means this, yes. I was wondering if anyone knew of straight women
participating in this or if they might do it themselves (and self-
identify as straight). All the packers I know are FtM, drag kings, or
some lesbians (who pack hard), but I don't know of any straight women
that do it. I could see packing hard, maybe, being a bit more common
since that leads to pegging, but packing soft would (to me) lead to
genderqueer exploration.

Surely a straight woman is more likely to be penis-oriented than a gay
woman.

I think you might consider emailing the folx at Toys in Babeland
(www.babeland.com) -- they're knowledgeable, have a wide variety of
contacts, and are helpful. If you're in Seattle, LA, SF, or NY, you
could visit one of their stores. I imagine there are other sextoy/sex
accessory shops where you could find info as well--but I'm familiar
with Babeland, and know they carry a number of made-for-packing items.

It sure is.
But that page reminds me that lots of men like to have the
woman they are having sex with insert a finger or two into
their anus. The presence of a prostate can have that give
the guy an amazing sensation.
I'd imagine that being penetrated by the toy worn by a woman
could also be an interesting experience.
