Alice Just Went By on Her Senior Tricycle

Alice lives across the street two doors down, and it has stopped raining. Bicycles had always been for children until 1969, when I started working at a large laboratory where we got around on bicycles. The first time I tried it my legs were sore for days. I saw Alice's tricycle in an aircraft factory in 1956, where it was used to deliver blueprints to different parts of the building -- they called it the shop floor, as I recall.... more »

I Have Re-Retired to Florida

My wife, two kitties, and I moved from California last September and settled in South Florida next to Miami. I do believe I like it here, and I strongly suspect my complaining wife does too. We are definitely both happier. I positively love the hot, humid weather. And I relax and grin from ear to ear when we have good thunderstorm.... more »
