Never heard it. One thing I do know is some fat bitch teacher in the
2nd grade class next to ours told the kids they were Republicans, even
if they said they were Democrats or didn't know.
She told them that they were christians and anybody who did not say
'under god,' that they should 'maybe' be tortured into saying it.
She said that she wasn't allowed by the 'liberal education system' to
torture children but she said it 'may' be Ok for the other children to
torture.
One kid, matt, stopped saying the pledge entirely, a few joined in
protest.
So this happened day after day, and she would spend a good hour or two
with her right wing bullshit political indoctrination talk and would
disrupt the other classes by doing it soo loud.
Just as insane glen beck style propaganda bullshit is today.
Everything done and said is designed to make liberals out to be a
danger to them and the country, it's done in a
systematic manner, it's propaganda.
Well I would ask to use the restroom, to see what was going on and
when I saw she was actually using the kids to inflict pain (torture)
and suffering, on mostly one kid in particular.
I went in there and told the bitch what was up.
I told her what public schools are and aren't for, never happened
again.
My teacher had came out and saw what I did and asked if I was an
activist, I said no I just know what public schools are and aren't
for. Something to that effect.
After that
My teacher allowed us to not say under god or the pledge for that
matter if we felt pressured and uncomfortable because of the teachers
actions.
I said the pledge with a real understanding what it meant to be an
American, that freedom exists and that even a child has a voice and
can make a difference, but that there will always always be somebody
there, trying to limit freedom under the guise of patriotism, the flag
and religion.

By the way, under god was inserted in there because somebody didn't
think somebody was being patriotic enough just saying it the original
way.
On that note, colorado state lawmakers decided that our children
weren't being patriotic enough
and made a law making it 'illegal' to 'not' say the pledge in 'public'
schools, it passed at the time.
That was pretty recent. But coloradoans are wising up to how useless
and completely
wrong Republicans are in colorado and they are becoming extinct by
their own hand.

There is othing wrong with the pledge, even the under god part. It's
just that some people misuse it for political reasons, and not what it
was originally designed for.

That way, everybody is speaking of their own God, even those that
