The lions are not breeding like they should and that brings us to
another related topic. When are humans facing the reality that
overpopulation is an issue?

I can't think of any leader who reminds them of the issue, least among
them the Pope. Are gays the only ones not following the command of
"multiply and conquer"? And what happens when populations age such as
in Northern Europe and America and then they demand their share?

This requires careful analysis, I think.

Hey, some of them pray and everything and then go out preying.

Their predatory skills are not diminished at all, though you may argue
that the sheep and the lion sit next to each other for a while.
