How does this differ from the "ice cream" of the Bush tax cuts for the rich?
We are all going to be paying for that for years to come too.
(I haven't mentioned wars for fun and profit for your friends).

That's a good question. One of the problems with this story,
incidentally, is that it obviously assumes that the typical Republican
voter is as intelligent as a 3rd-grade student and could learn
something from the experience of seeing what happens when Republicans
practice their Voodoo, economic magic.

I never heard a peep out of him while the Bushes and
Reagan were running up ten times that debt for the benefit

It is either unmitigated chutzpah of the highest degree or utter stupidity
due to narrow focus. Either way the people of the country lose. They
also fail to see themselves as "the people of this country" and believe
whatever their heroes throw at them, never imagining that they themselves
will suffer from failed policies and narrow focus.
