Extremely nice. Composition is superb. Rita, you're lucky to
have a friend as talented as Phoebe.

Very nice indeed. I was pleasantly surprised when the picture
came up.

I'm totally impressed. This looks like oil. Phoebe should be proud of her
work, and you are fortunate to have an example.

It looks wonderful -- what is her medium? Oil Pastels or plain
pastels?

I am always bemused to hear from folks who do not
approve of homosexuality. There is sad news for
these folks, homosexuality continues to occur with
or without their approval. It is like disapproving
of Tuesday -- fuss all you want, every seven days
there it is again, TUESDAY!

I took a stab at painting, first in water colors , then in oil. I
liked the fluidity of the water colors, but I didn't persist.
Our very own Mel is also a painter. Years ago I saw some photographs
of his paintings. I wish he would display some of his works. They are
interesting.
And I hope we get to see more of your paintings. . . please. :-)
And thanks, Rita, for exposing us to the artistic side of Phoebe.
Although I already knew she was creative from her writing.

She should consider selling some of her work! I really liked the one
you posted and have to believe there is a market for her work. I
suspect a little ebay selling would be easy enough to set up.
I was going to note "impressionistic" too at first, but backed off
since artists are sometimes sensitive about being pigeonholed.
Phoebe's was impressionist in the "best" way IMV, a la Matisse
(if Matisse can be called "impressionistic"), rather than as the
overly sentimental (IMV) Monet, though Monet is my sister's
favorite painter.
