"Mother Teresa Humanitarian Image A 'Myth,' New Study Says

The Huffington Post | By Ron Dicker

A new study by Canadian academics says Mother Teresa was a product of
hype who housed the poor and sick in shoddy conditions, despite her
access to a fortune.

The Times of India, reporting on the controversial essay, wrote that
the authors asserted Mother Teresa saw beauty in the downtrodden's
suffering and was far more willing to pray for them than provide
practical medical care. Meanwhile, researchers say, the Vatican
engaged in a PR ploy as it threw aside concerns about her suspicious
financial dealings and contacts to forgo the five-year waiting period
to beatify her.

One of the researchers, Serge Larivee of the University of Montreal's
department of psychoeducation, told the school's website, “Given the
parsimonious management of Mother Teresa's works, one may ask where
the millions of dollars for the poorest of the poor have gone?”

The research paper claims that the celebrated nun had 517 missions in
100 countries at the time of her death, but that the majority of
patients were not cared for properly and many were left to die,
according to the university website. In addition, the Vatican is said
to have ignored a doctor's assertions when it concluded that a Mother
Teresa miracle healed a woman who had tuberculosis and an ovarian
cyst. . . ."

I know, I know. The Mother Teresa that everybody loved and admired
never actually existed. Isn't it amazing how gullible we all tend to
be sometimes? Even I was taken in by that one.

All bullshit. What did she do with all the money she stole?
You guys wallow in hate.
Her nuns are NOT registered nurses. They were never meant
to be. Their mission is a lot more simple. They take care
of the folks who society tosses away.
You might say their work is more custodial. It is silly
as hell to think they want to keep people in pain.
Why do you think they are invited into ever major city on
the planet.
How do you think these nuns travel all over the world from
India. Do you think they walk to Australia or South
America?
Her community continues to grow and they are
her best tributes. If you want, go visit one
of their houses. Why do they have so many volunteers
helping them?

You folks maybe don't know where the term
the "devil's advocate" came from. It is a term
used in the canonization process.
Their entire task is to find inconsistancies,
out-right fraud etc. They pour over tons
of correspondence, legal disputes, conflicts
with locals etc. In other words their job
is to dig up dirt and block the canonization
process.

Yes the old atheist bastard would say anything to get some
attention. He was a freak and just entertained his fellow
haters.

Now that, folks, is as good a description of "GLOBALIST" as I've heard in
many an age. He must have been looking at a mirror as he wrote those words!

Let's now watch "GLOBALIST" scurry quickly under that rock of his.

Maybe if this account gave some specific examples of the terrible deception that Mother Teresa is said to have practiced, it would have some believability. As it stands, the appearance is of its being just another attempt depose another dead hero from her pedestal.

I'm not sure about conditions that exist there now, but when Mother Teresa was kicking around and flying in her private jets, etc., poverty there was beyond description and I don't think her mission was exactly medical, although care of the ill is part of missionary work, of course, but she would hardly have the resources of a Park Avenue medico. It was
probably more on the order of what we think of as hospice care.

Here, on the U.S.,maybe we should explore the possibilities of the Father Damien story, and his interest in lepers.
