Feiths colleagues are a whos who of the neoconservatives - Donald
Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Michael Ledeen, Richard Perle, Stephen Cambone,
Dick
Cheney, and Frank Gaffney are only a few that sing his praises.
Feith was closely associated in the 1990s with the Zionist Organization of
America and the Likud party in Israel. Before joining the Bush
administration,
Feith was also closely associated with such neoconservative organizations as
the Center for Security Policy, Middle East Forum, Institute for Advanced
Strategic and Political Studies, and the Jewish Institute for National
Security Affairs.
A longtime advocate of an Israeli-centric Middle East policy, Feithhelped
shape such a policy as the number three official in the Pentagon during the
Bush administration. Closely involved in the Pentagons Office of Special
Plans, which helped build the fraudulent case for the Iraq invasion, Feith
is
again in the media spotlight as the latest intelligence scandal involving
Israel unfolds.
