His most recent post was April 19th. Considering his terrible
health, he might be dead, in which case RIP to a good man.

I last heard from Earl in a personal e-mail on the 3rd of May. He
noted that he's just very tired, and has trouble even getting to his
computer.

He passed over to "the other side" into one of the many other dimensions
even scientists say exists.

To be fair... it's hard to imagine humanity being without him and those
who are of his nature -- hardly a gentle nature but one who has always
been true to himself despite our having some very strong disagreements
with personal political choices.

Some say that a conservative is simply a liberal who has grown old...
but Earl has never wavered in his liberal views when growing old.

Explain to us what makes having 'liberal' views makes one noble?
I would rather know someone used common sense and was independent.
Both terms liberal and conservative are abused and used
carelessly.

Nor have I. I think the thing about young liberals always
turning into old conservatives is just a myth like "no atheists
in foxholes". The fact that I once read a book by Ayn Rand
in my mid-teens doesn't mean I started as a conservative
and later switched.

One doesn't have to get crabby when one's old, though it
does happen a lot and one can see why, given the debilities
of old age. I've been spared the worst so far, but I know
it's coming if I live long enough. If I get crabby enough to
turn into a conservative though, please shoot me.

First you explain to us how a view that someone can rise from the
dead is evidence of any sanity whatsoever???

>I would rather know someone used common sense and was independent.

You mean like the common sense there is to an argument that
someone is the son of God, died for our "sins," rose from the
dead, and reenters through a vessel presented by a priest along
with the ringing of a bell whenever he is "called."

ding... ding... ding...

Both terms Christian and Religious are abused and used without
the slightest hint of reality or sanity.
