Assalamu alaikum,

I just stumbled across this interesting article and photographic
collection... Although it is from earlier this year, I thought others
may also be interested...

An increasing number of Latinos have been embracing Islam in the last
couple of decades.

One of the wonderful things, in my opinion, about being a Muslim is
the wide range of cultures that Muslims are. When you are a Muslim, it
is like a "key" that opens the door to a worldwide brotherhood and
sisterhood, of people of a wide range of different (and fascinating)
cultures. I have sat (as a brother) with people well outside of my own
cultural background - such as Turks, Afghans, Arabs (from multiple
countries), West Africans (from multiple countries), Bosnians, ethnic
Cham Muslims (from Vietnam), Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Indian Muslims,
Chinese Muslims (both Hui and Uighur Muslims), and others - and have
been greatly enriched by these experiences!

The more, the merrier, I say! (Subhanallah.)

Very interesting stuff there...it shouldn't be too surprising why Islam has such a large appeal as promised in the Qur'anul Kareem. Too bad those with blindfolds on their eyes will never see it!
