Thanks for sharing this! I am fascinated by Sufi poetry (and other
works), written in what are not traditionally "Muslim" languages (such
as Greek)...
Of course, today, we do have some Sufi poetry written in English,
which is not a traditional "Muslim" language. One example which comes
to mind is the poetry of Daniel Abdal-Hayy Moore.

Another interesting group in this light, I think, is the Indonesia-
based Sufi-related band, Debu.

They consist of followers of Shaykh Fattaah, and I believe their
lyrics in general come from his poetry. Most of it is in Indonesian,
though they have also released an album in Turkish, and have some
songs in other languages as well, such as English, Spanish, and
Arabic.
(You can find some of their songs on YouTube, and of course you can
purchase their albums online.)
Shaykh Fattaah himself is an American who moved to Indonesia, and many
of his followers are Americans who moved there with him.
