Which I also posted and do not know whether or not it was sent to
the NNTP servers. It's possible that Catherine and Fariduddien are
both preoccupied with their domestic lives and haven't had time to
look at the incoming posts for a week or two, that happens.

A visitor/poster to the forum is entitled to just that.

I was a moderator here years ago, and before that I received the
unmoderated incoming stream of posts, which I still receive. I no
longer have NNTP newsgroup access, and do not see what posts have been
sent to the servers by the moderators. So when an incoming post ~
that I believe will be approved and sent to the servers ~ warrants a
response, in my opinion, I reply from the incoming stream.
In the case of the post you mention, I clicked on "Reply" instead
of "Reply All," which I occasionally mistakenly do, and had to "Edit
as new" to send it to the newsgroups (i.e., to the moderation queue).
You received your copy; I don't know the fate of the copy sent to
the moderators, which did appear in the incoming stream. Had your
post been rejected, my reply would also have been rejected; you would
have been notified of the rejection, and I would have been notified
that my reply had been rejected. (As a moderator, I would not have
rejected your post.)
There are two moderators, which has been the case for years ~
Catherine and Fariduddien. Both have lives beyond SRI, and sometimes
they get behind. I haven't looked at the queue of unmoderated posts
to see whether that's the case, perhaps one of them will do so when
they read your email.
You, and I, are entitled to have our posts read and moderated.
How the moderators otherwise administer the forum is their
responsibility, and they are not accountable to us for anything they do.
