I was hoping to have an intelligent discussion on politics, (health
care), but no one seemed to make any sense at all; no wonder we cant`t
make any headway on this subject.

Unfortunately, Liz, what you are going to find on here are rants from
the far left and the far right with not a lot of intelligent discussion.
Some isolated soul wants to shout out his or her {love} {hate} for
{President Obama} {liberals} {conservatives} {the world} . . . and if
you attempt to engage them in constructive dialog you usually don't get
a response.

That's the sad but true story of the internet - tens of thousands of
people sitting behind screens releasing their frustration into an
uncareing medium..

My suggestion: if you want more direct information on
Healthcare is to go to www.cbo.gov

If a politician isn't citing a number from one of their party
affliated think tanks they rely on numbers from this bipartisan
government agency. It's where I go to try and sift through all the
half-truths.
