I was just wondering if anyone is still using soc.fremasonry.org? I have been busy elsewhere; but, I thought that I should share with you the following post to see if we can get some of our old mojo back and start-up discussions here again.

Our Grand Lodge formed up a committee of someone other than the lawful representatives of our individual Lodges in order to invent a “Vision and Mission Statement” for Illinois FreeMasonry and then impose it upon us to denote our purpose. Hello Doug/Group-
Are we ready to move this set-up to the PANIX Server? FYI: Illinois and Indiana Area Masons, Triluminar Lodge in Lansing is having multiple third degrees tomorrow night, Friday 5/18. 6PM Dinner 7PM Degrees. Currently the slate has me down for three parts. I plan to be there but as it happens, I will be taking the train and working downtown during the NATO Summit with my 7-Eleven Franchisees. I think that I will pack my bag with ground beef and raw boneless pork chops for the trip. I wonder how all of those all of those police doggies might handle it.... more »

Departed Master

Dear Brethren,
I bring you the sad news from Old Olavians' Lodge No. 5758, UGLE, that our Worshipful Master, W. Bro. Richard Loom LGR, passed to the Grand Lodge above
on 9th December.
His funeral will be on this Friday, 30th December at 10:00am in Eltham Crematorium, London SE9 2AZ.
