The Connecticut Freemasons publication (yes, I'm on that committee, too) is
going to run a series of articles regarding the recognition between the
AF&AM and the MWPH Grand Lodges back in 1989.

Thinking that some people outside of our little state might be interested, I
will be reprinting those articles on my blog as they appear. The articles
will have been written by people who were around back then. The guy in
charge of the publication (currently our Grand JS) has also contacted many
of the people who were involved for interviews. We expect that this series
will run most of the year.

Some of the pictures are not the best quality - they look like scans of old
Polaroids - but I'll put up whatever looks halfway decent. I'll also provide
links to the online PDF of the publication.

Please note that I am not trying to start another recognition discussion on
this group - this is because we are already running this series I thought
that some people might like to read about the process from the start.

As a fellow CT Freemason, I am simultaneously proud to be part of the
first American grand lodge state to recognize Prince Hall Freemasonry,
and more than slightly embarrassed it took so long.
