To our American Brethren: Happy 4th of July.

To our Foreign Brethren: May each of you feel that your native land
provides you with the freedom and independence that U. S. Citizens take
for granted.

May all of you continue to enjoy Fellowship and Brotherly Love!

TEXAS red wine: renowned for its smoky-mesquite-bbq & jalapeno
overtones, the perfect foil for a meal of tacos and refried beans...

And we should be thankful that Sam Moser and the rest of the crazies
cannot post to this newsgroup!

And to all may we, as FreeMasons, always cherish and stand ready
to defend the Four Freedoms as identified by Brother Franklin
Roosevelt in his address, January, 1941. Freedom of Worship, Freedom
from Want, Freedom of Spreech and Freedom from Fear.
We have a club that is uniquely qualified to promote all four
either for the world at large or within our own boroughs. Is there any
special way that your lodge honors these tenets? Auburn Park is always
looking for new ideas and programs to try.

As far as I am aware, my government of my native land (rather than the land
itself !) doesn't provide me with the same level as US Citizens get from
their goverment - though it used to do so more than it does today.

On the other hand, your point about "U. S. Citizens" enjoying freedom is
very apt - the US guarantees more freedoms to its own citizens, than to
visitors or foreign residents. etc.

Now this bit I like - since it transcends all politics and religion, and
reinforces the unversality of the Science.
