Usenet is dead. Not dying, dead.

Yes all of usenet.

Now I know that DAK says this is my fault,
and I'm okay with that, but this post isn't
about fault. It's about the facts. And the facts
are that usenet is dead.

You're welcome.

There are newsgroups that are still lively, though I grant that
they're decaying.

There are even Big Five newsgroups that are not decaying.

Lee Rudolph (that's Usenet with a capital U, and it rhymes with
Poo, and it stands for ... just about anything)

Gee, you're getting old. I remember a time when
you would chase over-the-hill twinks into
incredibly loud nightclubs, and now even usenet
is too loud for you....

Absent the one nut job posting under a dozen different
names, yeah, they are decaying...

I remember when Sock Motts got at least 300 posts each
day, almost none of them crossposts....

Boy, do I feel old.

If you really *were* old, you *wouldn't* remember.

I remember the first time you told me that... the two of
all all sweaty.... we had just had sex... I was reaching
for the cum rag, and it fell, and I was complaining
about the way I stupidly left it dangling so precariously...

Remember?

Well, I'm glad to see that at least *one* of them is still
willing to take a walk on the wild side, once in a long while.

Now, doesn't it feel nice to spend even a few minutes outside
the grip of Mark Zuckerberg? With no ... graphics. Just
text; lovely, lovely text. You know you like it, really.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't there used to be a
"Charlie Fulton" who posted here? I'm talking years
ago. There was a Charlie [Something] and I'm pretty
sure it was Fulton...

That's a pretty big coincidence, isn't to? Two people
with the same name like that?
