I do plan on watching. After all I have *lots* of spare time in my
retirement. It might be a good idea to cut down on the dozen or so
films I attend per week this time of year and the myriad tv series
that I'm hooked on...to say nothing of my newly adopted 24/7
obsession with Facebook. Wait, maybe I really don't have time to
add a daily soap opera to the mix. HELP!

The obvious thing to do is pretend you just arrived in Pine Valley or
wherever it is they hang out, and start from scratch. That works with
soaps, right?
I might be swinging around your direction in February, someone I know
works at AFI, will you be around?
Oooh -- mini.con! Let us know the dates -- Dudamel might be doing
something good at the Disney!

Like life itself, the soaps don't begin or end. We are born into the middle
of them. Guiding Light, for instance, began before most people were born, but
yet it managed to attract listeners and later viewers for 70 years.
