Subject: [Conntech] One last posting for the AFK fundraiser
Dear Library Colleagues,
April 22nd will be here soon. Why is that important? It's the date of the
American Friends of Kenya fund raiser at the Keeney Memorial Cultural
Center. We've planned an evening (6-9 PM) filled with raffles, pictures,
music and speakers from Kenya who will share their unique stories.
We are pleased to welcome a visit by Dr. Raouf Mama, the
internationally-known story teller from Benin, who will wind up the
evening's events.

Raffle items will include: autographed books, restaurant and spa gift
certificates, art and handmade objects, and gift baskets.
You'll be able to speak with native Kenyans, view spectacular
African-themed quilts, and enjoy snacks, wine and beer.
We look forward to seeing you there and being able to share with you the
things about Kenya that have captured our hearts. We hope you'll come and
support AFK's library initiatives. You may even be inspired to travel with
us in years to come.
