In a punk library, do you bring the books back when you feel like it,
or do they head-butt you for having overdue ones?

It may not seem the most obvious job choice for a man who fought
the law, even if the law won. But Mick Jones, of the Clash, has
decided on a more respectable career – by becoming a librarian.

The lead guitarist, who was at the centre of the punk movement,
opened his personal rock'n'roll library to the public today, saying
he hoped it would inspire and educate music lovers from around the
world.

Oh, I am just a student, sir, and I only want to learn
But it's hard to read through the rising smoke
of the books that you want to burn

In a punk library, patrons shave the ends off of the books and return
them with the spines intact.
