Suppose instead of ascending to Heaven, Jesus stayed on Earth to this
day? He told those who would surely seek to kill Him again that once
was plenty and used His powers to avoid illness, injury, and aging? He
roamed the Earth freely and continued much as He did before His
crucifiction?

Then his followers would rule the world.
If God actually walked the earth you and I and everyone else would worship him/her/it.

(I suppose you refer to Jesus The Christ)
The whole Christianity is grounded on Christ's sacrifice on the
Cross.
Another religion would rise, depending on Jesus actions.

Well, the premise *does* say "much as before the crucifixion". As such, it would be easy to find people who disbelieve in Jesus.
It's more interesting to ask: What would the Christian church be like nowadays, if their leader could walk in through their doors any time in their history? I think we'd find disbelievers among Christians, pretty early in history. The real Jesus of Nazareth would probably have been declared a heretic.
Let's take a look, if you will, at the Second Amendment of the
Constitution, which protects every American's right to shoot another
American. This cherished constitutional right to shoot people and make
them dead is currently recognized in all fifty states, most recently
Florida.

My WI allows for the Crucifiction but not the Ascention.

Thank you for not wasting our time by messing with my premise.

Would that last long enough to matter?

Or that, since in my Wl Jesus is indestructable? Remember: He told
those who would surely seek to kill Him again that once

Okay, I didn't get that bit until I read it three times *and* you used a word like "indestructible".
... So, Jesus either goes into hiding, or he rules the Earth. He probably gives a major boost to his followers. But unless he watches them really, really closely, things get ugly.

If Pul had not converted, the new faith would have been in a world of
hurt. Saul of Tarsus was a virulent enemy of the new faith;
well-educated, a great speaker and a gifted rabble-rouser. His unaltered
presence would severly damage the new faith.
