Next Thursday is Thanksgiving.
Our forefathers, escaping the dogmas of European dogmatism, formed a
new nation that quickly developed a culture, a political life, and
liberties that resulted ultimately in the American Revolution, the
U.S. Declaration of Independence, and the U.S. Constitution.
The first European Immigrants to what would be the U.S.A. initiated
this revolutionary change with the Mayflower Compact.
