McAuliffe says media ‘in the tank’ for Obama
By Klaus Marre
Posted: 05/13/08
The Hill
Terry McAuliffe, campaign chairman for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton
(D-N.Y.), said Tuesday that the former first lady is hamstrung by a biased
media.
“Clearly it has been a biased media, no question about it,” McAuliffe
said on Fox News. When asked how much of the mainstream media is “in the
tank” for Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.), who leads Clinton in the race for the
Democratic nomination, McAuliffe estimated that about 90 percent of the
media favor Obama.
“It is what it is. We’re not complaining,” he stated. “We have to deal
with the hand we’re dealt with.”
McAuliffe added that “every independent study has said that this is
the most biased coverage they’ve ever seen in a presidential campaign.”
He also praised Fox News, which is often viewed as a conservative
media outlet, as “one of the most responsible in this presidential
campaign.”
Might be a typo
He could have said "We have to deal with the hand we’ve dealt with"

He has been called the Second Coming of Baghdad Bob. He not only knows
Hillary needs a miracle to even get by the next three weeks, he
expects it.
the double use of deal is a problem too. one usually PLAYS with the cards
they're dealt,
it's ironic that the liberal press which built hillary up and called her
inevitable, has led the attack that has destroyed her.
no one has been worse on her than keith olberman and MSNBC in general.
if the dems had played it right they could have been in line to hold the WH
for the next several terms.
hillary is dead as a candidate, now and in the future and if obama loses to
mccain he's dead too. and the dems really have no one else on the horizon.
There are always more suckers, and McCain has the problems of age and
Bush to fight. Three senators, two younger one older than McCain, said
they were too old to be vice president.
Think of all the Iraq veterans who have run for office, one will catch
fire if Obama doesn't and even if McCain survives his term they will
be nipping at him like the Republicans around FDR.
Clinton and Clinton destroyed her themselves. First hiring Mark Penn,
a trivialist who had an idea of winning the nomination without really
trying, then using Billy as a barrier to keep anyone from learning
Hillary's own views, and finally a collection of party hacks as
instruments in the various states that emphasized Obama's main thesis.
She has always been a false entity.
The only reason anybody knows who she is, is becasue she of who she was
married to - some credential for a feminist.
She's been revealed as a lying asshole from the start. Healthcare reform
showed her to be an incompetent asshole.
She and her sexual pervert husband have been planning this campiagn for over
a decade, they had the states with Demo machines intact, and she still got
beat by a black that nobody heard of a year ago, who had no money.
democratic voters tend to watch MSNBC and every night they've led off with
attacks on hillary and kid gloves for obama.
everynight you have olberman saying "the pulic" wants her to quit. the
public of course being the press. they act like their opinion is everybodies
opinion.
Don;t forget the beating Obama took over that idiot '60s shaman. That was
serious.
My opinion is that she's getting the old biddies who want to pretend she's
brilliant and "strong"
(and nobody has the guts to tell them it's a lie because they'll start
shrieking), and a lot of dispossesed blue collar guys who are too dumb to
figure out what happened to their jobs and who listen to their wives, and
think a lying feminst will make it 1995 again.
The press has a lot of people who went along to get along with her when she
was "inevitable", but have been showing their real opinion of her
Presidential qualities since the inevitability went away.
She should just disappear - forever.
if you are dealing with your left hand you can't shift
"you have to deal with the hand you've dealt with"
Vince
the press dropped that after one day. anytime wright is mentioned they
quickly shift to mccain and hagee.
when the general election comes around though you can bet that the repubs
will be all over that stuff.
obama will be swiftboated with a vengeance.
uh vince, you're not making sense.
also never play cards with anybody who deals one handed, those are the folks
who deal seconds and bottoms.
Read a Chicago paper or watch their local TV.
The holding hand holds the deck the dealing hand deals the cards
you cant change hands
ergo
>> "you have to deal with the hand you've dealt with"
makes perfect sense
Vince
>also never play cards with anybody who deals one handed, those are the folks

Aside from the fact that it is difficult, inefficient, and pointless
to deal one handed, you can't possibly deal secords and bottoms one
handed. Ever hear of the 'mechanics grip'.
Casady
I know some boys who want to play poker with you.
Peter Skelton
The first technique he shows for dealing seconds also works
one-handed. Do you look at this stuff before you post it?
Peter Skelton
Read the source material, before he posts it?
Of course not...
Pogue Linthicum doesn't take the time or the effort to do that.
He just wants to get HIS wrong-headed gibberish post out and on-line.
ASAP...

Who do you think you are asking this question? I selected a youtube
clip that showed what Richard Casaday said was impossible.
You. That's what you get for posting a URL without comment.
Peter Skelton
trust me the repugnazies are gearing up.
do you watch MSNBC jack? do you think their coverage is balanced
a stretch. and anyway the saying about the cards your dealt, not the cards
you deal.
your grasp of thse sayings rivals the chimperors
people who think that make card sharps plenty of money.
It was simply a point of grammar
The chimp is an idiot and would not have gotten the joke
he cant deal with his hands since his thumb is not opposable
Vince
i understood what jack was doing.
That's a description more appropriately applied to you.
Aye, Jack's laconic message was perfectly appropriate and
understandable for anybody following the thread.
Hines jumped in and chose the wrong side, but that came as no surprise
to me who am familiar with this unfortunate tendency of his. Maybe his
dwindling skills in reading comprehension are due to all those years
lost in the tropics. (He didn't even know where Hawaii was located
until some kind Brit pointed it out to him last year.)

Yes, I remember when he didn't know where Hawaii was located. Then, I
thought it must be one of those " .... forest for the trees ..." kind of
things.

There were many nights when I lived on Oahu when I didn't know where
Hawaii was or where I was for that matter.

I wonder how many know the latitude and longitude of Hawaii to within
even five degrees? One in five hundred? Bet you most of the natives
don't know. I have been there, but I wasn't navigating the ship. You
don't even have to know where it is to find it with a boat. Just stay
under the airliner contrails.
Casady
I knew a yacht racer who competed in one of the X to Honolulu races
and he said they didn't. But I think he lied.
He probably had it waypointed on his GPS. ;-)

You ever try to deal seconds even two handed?
