Hillel said it in a specifc historical context
for a movement among Diaspora Jews.
The intelligent reader would investigate why
Jesus Christ said the same thing of Hillel's
later and others of Hillel's sayings that got
into the Sermon on the Mount.
> I wish to love my neighbor. Do you have anything to say that will help me

I post what is useful to breaking the paradigm
re: Christian Origins or confirming what is
valueable in the Christian or RSOF religion.
You are overly polemical in tone. Further,
Thiering pesher is for history, not for the
spiritual pursuit of loving your neignbor.
Nonetheless, you can investigate the teachings
of Jesus Christ on Forgiveness yourself. This
bears on your stated desire to love your neighbor.
Further, I recommend the Course of Miracles
and its advanced theology so that one can
understand God's Love and how Ego can
get in the way of forgiving another's tresspass.
