we have kept in touch with most of our family, but we want to make sure that
there is no one missing. or at least i do. perhaps even friends that they
haven't heard from in many years.
if anyone knows a lawrence murrell, eldica murrell, christobell murrell,
arthur bowen, lolita bowen or wendie ellis from christ church e-mail me
and we'll talk. just my own curiosity.

My name is Alva Griffith. Bajans here (Southern California) ! Hubby's
father and all that line were born in B'dos. Would especially like to ck
w/you, and anyone else, on BOWEN, as that is one of his surnames, and we
know very little about them. We would be happy to share/exchange what we
have.
The paternal line is GRIFFITH, originally of St. Lucy; moved to
Bridgetown, St. Michael by abt 1894; many came to New York abt 1912. This
GRIFFITH mrd Sarah Jane HOLDIP, also of St. Lucy who may have roots in St.
Joseph. She was the daughter of a BOWEN, who was apparently the widow of
a BABB. Some of the GRIFFITHs and HOLDIPs are said to have gone to Panama
to work on the Canal. I have run across a few BOWEN/BABB names in some
personal papers, but have no clue as to how/if they connect to us.
