I am trying to figure out a branch of my ancestors. I am starting from
a reference in the book "Memories of Saint Martin 1852-1926" by
Josiah Charles Waymouth Esq. In this book he references his father as
William Thomas Waymouth and his mother as Susanna Gibbes Illidge.

It is Susanna (born Gibbes) Illidge that I am trying to chase down.
The author states that Susanna's mother was Louisan Augusta Gibbes
Her grandfather was J. S. Gibbes
Her great grandfather was Thomas Gibbes
And that here great great grandfather was Johannes Salamonsz Gibbes.
I am looking for anyone who has detailed info on this section of the
Gibbes family on St Maarten.
