[Carib] Radiocarbon Dating

A friend in Trinidad has asked me to locate a radiocarbon dating laboratory
to which some bones..uncovered in an "archaeological find" could be
submitted

Does anybody know of a radiocarbon dating laboratory in the West Indies?

Alternatively, an appropriate contact in one of the UK or US universities
that has conducted digs in the Caribbean (E.g. University College London
and North Carolina State University) might be able to recommend one

Hi Laura

I should have known better, as there was a recent enquiry on the Essex
(England) List from somebody who was trying to discover the approximate
year a photograph had been taken. It seems that something
that distinguished it from another shot of the same scene was that it had
in it a "telegraph pole" (what would you call one of a series of tall poles
carrying telephone wires?)
Subject "Telegraph Pole Dating" provoked an upsurge of posts (oops!)
from reminiscences about tall thin girlfriends to indignant responses about
sexism on the List to attempts to calm the waters with "Smile - it's Friday"
