The family also had links with PLYMOUTH and EXETER and l have links in the
surrounding areas and elsewhere. There is a DAVID MAJOR (tailor) who appears
on the 1881 census living in Southwark (now LONDON), born in 1841 and MAJORs
found in CORNWALL are also linked.

I'm looking for information on this family. There were also Goughs and Nocks
who lived near-by and Two of the daughters married into these families in the
states. Can anyone help me? Where is Saint Thomas, Dudley, Wocester? How
can one get records from there? I don't know anything more about the Walkers
or Carters. I have a book given to my greatgrandfather in 1884 for church
attendance. Is the family listed in the old church records?
Any tips would be appreciated.
Thank you one and all for any assistance in advance.

Well, here goes the other family story! My grmother Isabella McKinnon Bell
(now 93), came to the US in 1907. It is said her grfather James BLAIR owned
a bakery in Scotland. One of his workers was angry and threw a fork at
James, taking out his eye.
Does anyone know of this family. Thanks.

Japhet, Noah's oldest son. The pedigree is from the "Four Masters" and
published in Irish Pedigrees by O'Hart, vol. 1 pg 44, so if it's published in
a book then it must be true.
It reads from number 1, Adam, Seth, Enos, Cainan, Mahalaleel, Jared,
Enoch, Methuselah,
Lamech, Noah, Japhet, Magog, Baoth, etc., etc., to number 38, Milesius of Spain.
From there it goes on to all the Milesian Irish genealogies.
