I am researching the illustrious name of Nancarrow and to date have found
quite a few branches that need tidying up. The Nancarrow's lived in the
Illogan area c1700's where I have found Sam/Samuell Nancarrow marrying
Julian on 18th Dec. 1714. The family stayed in the Illogan area until
c1770's and children Richard, Stephen, Samuel, Edward, Jane, George & Grace
were born. These names keep repeating through the generations. By the
1780's the family are now situated in Gwinear with a George Nancarrow
marrying Mary Blewett (nee Johns) on 3rd March, 1798. By 1828 they have
moved again to the Phillack area of Cornwall and that seems to be the area
from which the children emigrated to Australia and one to America. Richard
John, Stephen, George, James, Elizabeth & William Henry all came to
Australia and a sister Margaret married a John Burns and she ended up in
America. Does anyone link in with my roaming Nancarrows? Leanne.
