Searching for additional information relative to the following as outlined at the end of this letter.
Harvey Terhune b 22 Mar 1817 in Mercer Co., KY. Son of Garret and Nancy (Davis ) Terhune.
Moved to Johnson Co., IN. in Sept 1830
He married Susan Wilson, dau. of John and Jane Wilson, in Franklin, Johnson Co., IN. on 31 Oct 1839. They were parents of Minerva A. b c 1845; Samuel Archibald b Sep 1848; John T. b c 1851; Mary Ellen b 28 Dec 1852; and Martha B. b c 1857. All children b in Johnson Co., IN.
I never found any record of Minerva A. Terhune after the 1860 census of Johnson Co., IN.
Samuel Archibald Terhune married Ellen M. Roberts and were parents of Elizabeth Anna b 15 Oct 1871; Ellen May b Aug 1877; Charlie Leroy b 7 Mar 1884; Ceca F. b 27 Dec 1887; and Theodore Archibald b 8 Aug 1891. Samuel and his family lived in Lebanon, MO. and in the Springfield, MO. area.
John T. ( Theodore ) Terhune married Sarah E. Wilson on 20 Nov 1883 in Miller Co., MO. They were parents of Deliah b 12 dec 1885; Theodore (d 6 mo ); Elige d at 13 or 15 from dust pneumonia; and Lucy.
John T. Terhune died before the last child was born. John T. and family lived in Lawrence Co. and Cedar Co. , MO. that I know about.
Mary Ellen Terhune married William David Turner 21 Nov 1872 ( obitituary had married in Olney, Richard Co., IL., but cannot find any proof of it ). They were parents of Elige C. b c 1874; Elbert Franklin b 6 April 1877; Luella Susan b 25 Dec 1882; Scott Washington b 8 Apr 1885; William David jr. b 20 Mar 1887; Mary Margaret b 16 Jun 1890; and Martha Lela b 5 Apr 1893. This family lived in Lawrence Co., MO., Maries Co., MO., and Miller Co. , MO. Mary Ellen died in Morgan Co., MO.
Martha Terhune married James J. Densey 4 Aug 1884 in Miller Co., MO. but find no further record of her.
Harvey and his family left Indiana after the 1860 census and never found him again until the 1880 census of Moniteau Co., MO. when he had another wife, Parthenia, age 30. Have found no further record of him.
I would like to learn the following:
Where they went after leaving Indiana ( maybe IL. and then MO. ? )
Where and when Susan his first wife died .
What became of Minerva A. Terhune.
When and where John T. Terhune died.
Any additional data on Martha Terhune Densey.
Where and when Harvey Terhune died.
Any info appreciated and always happy to SHARE our data.
