I am a descendant of George PARTRIDGE and Sarah TRACY. This couple had
10 children. The following information is from _Partridge Genealogy -
Descendants of George Partridge of Duxbury, Massachusetts_ by George
Henry Partridge, 1915. Incidentally, George PARTRIDGE and Sarah TRACY
are also the ancestors of President Ulysses S. Grant.
Sarah - b. 1639 m. 1658, Deacon Samuel ALLEN of Bridgwater, 10
children.
Triphosa - m. Sept. 26, 1668, Samuel WEST, 8 children.
Elizabeth - m. James ALLEN.
Ruth - m. Jan 1, 1669, Rodolphus THACHER.
John - b. Duxbury Nov. 29, 1657, d. Apr. 5, 1731.
Mary - m. ____ SCRIF (?)
Rebecca - m. ____ FISHER.
Lidia - m. Jan 21, 1672, Deacon William BREWSTER. Lydia d. Feb. 2,
1742.
Mercy - m. (1) Mar. 12, 1682-3 Samuel, son of Nathaniel and Priscilla
(CLARK) COLBURN of Dedham, m. (2) Mar. 27, 1702, Cornelius, son of
Cornelius and Leah (HEATON) FISHER of Wrentham, Mass. Children by
first husband six, by second husband two.
James - m. Apr. 24, 1712 Mary STETSON of Scituate who died Sep. 27,
1727 ae. 50. James died Jan. 20, 1744, no issue. He inherited his
fahter's lands in Duxbury.
