Hoste - Looking for any information on HENRY HOSTE born about 1812 in Germany.
His wife was MARY RICKENBERGER born about 1823 in Germany.

About 1850 they came to US with two small children:

Henry Jr. b-August, 1847 in Germany, married Rosetta (Ettie) Graham.
August b-1849 in Germany, married Lena Peters
Amelia b-April 1852 in NYS, married William Kelkenberg Sr.
Mary b-1853 in NYS
Louise b-1857 in NYS, married William Rohloff & Robert Williamson.
Martha b-1859 in NYS
Harmon b-1861 in NYS, married Cora Cummings.
Anna Katherina b-November, 1863 in NYS.  Married William Kelkenberg Jr.

In all of my searching, all records just list place of birth as Germany.
However, one census record listed the place of birth for Henry as Westphalia.
Thanks,

Anita Reeb
