John George Thomas WOOD, born 23 March 1855, probably in Ireland.
John died 7 June 1920 in Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand.
John was a sailor who made several trips to New Zealand before
settling there c. 1880 with his new wife.
married c. 1880, probably in the UK or en route to New Zealand, to:
Mary Aner CAMBUS, known as Aner, born 10 February 1856, probably in
the UK.
Aner died 7 October 1936 in Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand.
Does anyone have any information on this couple's origins?
