Seeking family links to my maternal GGF George MARR married to Caroline LEWIS
and parents to my GF Lorne Leroy MARR b. Jan 1885, St.Thomas, Ont.CAN.
According to Ont.1891 census other children were Clara (ALLEN), Ulysses, Naomi
(RAMEY) and Earl. GGF George was a railroad conducter and moved to Detroit,
MI around turn of century. Wife Caroline died at some unknown date. George
married Ella Nora CAMERON-date unknown, no children. George MARR was born in
Sparta, Ont.CAN abt. 1861, Caroline LEWIS was born in England abt. 1864. Have
no information re: Ella Nora CAMERON. Am trying to identify parents of George
and Caroline.

My gg grandfather, John Sim's second wife was a woman named Sarah Ashelford
who had previously been married to someone named Marr. She had three children
by
him, George E. Marr, Walter L. Marr and
Lizzie Marr Ingamells. She was born ca 1842 in in England. She married my gg
grandfather in 1878 in East Tawas, Iosco Co. She died ca 1895. Her sons were
living in Saginaw at
the time of her death.
