Estate inventory from Virginia 1693.
"one pre [pair] of Small Hillards"
(previous item is sword, next item is spinning wheel)
I figure if it's "H" it would mean halyards (aka hilliards).
It looks more like "St" than "H", but I can't make
any recognizable words out of that. Ideas?
Also, anybody heard of "flock bed" as in not a feather bed?
