I note that back in 2000, Mr. Richardson posted a differing
reconstruction of the Verdon/Pilkington connection, which also differs
from what is presented in VCH Herts. Unfortunately, a typo in the
accompanying dates makes it difficult to interpret (it shows a man
having his first child at about 76 and living to 127, which I am sure
was not the intent).
