we see the 1st Lord Harlech
As I was tracing forward the descent of Brogyntyn and Broniarth I
realized that Leo is missing something here, not realizing the
complete destruction of the house of Godolphin.
John Lord Harlech has as his maternal grandmother that
Mary /Owen/, heiress of Brogyntyn
whose mother Mary combined in herself two lines of Godolphin
her father being that Henry Godolphin DD provote of Eaton and Dean of
St Paul's
while Mary's mother was that Mary Godolpin daughter of Susanna Tanat,
last Tanat heiress of Glan Tanat
Mary then descends from the Sydney, Berkeley and Neville families as
well.
Mary (Godolphin) Owen ascends in 11 steps at least two different ways
to England, once to Henry IV and once to Edward III
Will Johnson
With thanks in advance,
Jeffrey

As far as I am aware, Mary Seymour, the only child of Katherine Parr,
disappears from the historical record after 1550. She is believed to
have died at about the age of two years. After the death of Katherine
Parr and the execution of her father, Thomas Seymour, Mary was in the
care of Katherine Willoughby, Duchess of Suffolk.
The children of John Neville, 3rd Baron Latimer, would not in fact be
descendants of Katherine Parr. His second wife, Dorothy de Vere, was
the mother of his children. Dorothy was the daughter of Sir George de
Vere and the sister of the 14th Earl of Oxford. Those children were:
John Neville, 4th Baron Latimer; Margaret Neville; and Elizabeth
Neville.
John Neville, 4th Baron, married Lucy Somerset, daughter of Henry, 2nd
Earl of Worcester. He had four daughters, but no surviving sons.
