Dear members of the Medieval list,

I am looking for information regarding one of my ancestors, viz.

Beatrice (Bertha) de Morvois.
`
Here s what I have:
Beatrice was married in the year 872 to HERIBERT I DE VERMANDOIS, born circa 850, murdered in the year 902, son of PEPIN de VERMANDOIS and ROTHILDE.

Her parents:
2 GUERRI DE MORVOIS (born\died when\where ???).

>>> I am very interested to receive info on his parents/ancestors >>

Guerri was married (on ???, where???) to
3 EVA DE ROUSILLON, (born\died when\where ???).
6 GéRARD II DE PARIS, born in the year 830, died in the year 870,
Gérard was married in the year 848 to
7 EVA BERTHE VAN AUXERRE, born in the year 830, died in the year 856.

Any information you may have on the (grand)parents of

GUERRI DE MORVOIS

is highly appreciated and most welcome.

Kindest regards,
-\!!/-

You had better bury these medieval ancestors again - they are not real.

The genealogy you are following was given in a 12th-century chronicle,
from Waulsort abbey, that drew on epic literature to aggrandise its
founder's lineage.

The wife of Heribert of Vermandois is unknown, as is the year of his
marriage.
