a certain Teresa Peres was mistress of infante Alfonso, and bor s9ome kids to him
http://genealogics.org/getperson.php?personID=I00398997&tree=LEO

some say that this Teresa Peres was from the lineage of Braganza, the older 'Bragancon' lineage before Braganza became any sort of holding for royal bastard line

However, chronology militates strongly against her being DAUGHTER of Pero Fernandes de Bragancon and his wife Frole Sanzes de Barbosa
http://genealogics.org/getperson.php?personID=I00435131&tree=LEO
Pero Fernandes and Frola Sanzes must have lived some hundred years or so before the time of the mistress Teresa Peres.

I am not saying that Teresa Peres would not possibly have been their descendant of some sort, but to be directly their daughter, is a stretch or actually impossibility

does anyone have any precise datings for these Frole Sanzes and her husband Pero Fernandes of braganza
?

According to Manuel Abranches de Soveral (see: http://roglo.eu/roglo?lang=fr;i=407063):

1. Teresa Pires de Bragança (*ca. 1210)
Rel. w/Alfonso, infante de Castilla (w/issue)
Md. João Martins «Abana» da Maia, cavaleiro fidalgo (w/issue)
2. D. Pedro Garcia de Bragançãos, senhor de Bragança, Rico-homem,
Documentado de 1211 a 1235. Em 1211 era alcaide-mor de Bragança. Em
1218 confirma o foral da S. Martinho da Castanheira.
3. Sancha Ozorez (Osorez)
4. D. Garcia Pires «Ledrom» de Bragançãos, Rico-homem, mordomo-mor de
D. Afonso IX de Leão (1196-9), etc. Documentado na corte de D. Sancho
I até Outubro de 1205. Parece ter sido senhor e alcaide-mor de Ledra.
5. Gontinha Soares de Tougues
6. Osorio Anes
7. NN
8. D. Pedro Fernandes de Bragançãos, senhor de Bragança, Rico-homem,
mordomo-mor do infante D. Sancho (1170-75), etc. Documentado na corte
entre 1152 e 1194.
9. Froilhe Sanches de Celanova
10. Soeiro Mendes «Facha» de Tougues, cavaleiro fidalgo. Documentado
na corte entre 1156 e 1176.
11. Elvira Gonçalves de Souza,

The ancestry of 8-11 is fairly known.

Regards.

Do you know if this is the troubadour of that name? The original
source for this part of the pedigree would appear to be the Livro
Velho, which simply names him Ozorio Anes, without further details.
