plus much more. The volumes are pro-
fusely illustrated throughout with 5
maps and 160 plates - mostly photographs.
Books are bound in smooth linen cloth
with gilt lettering on the spine. The
set looks like they were never opened or
read. There is a stamp "DISCARDED" at
bottom of each title page, but there are
no other library signs or markings. This
set never made it into the library system
or into circulation. In uniform fine
condition. $125.
