Wise County Virginia was formed in 1856, from portions of Russell,
Scott and Lee Counties.

This set of eight envelopes was issued to celebrate the 150th
anniversary of the County. Shipped with the original U.S. Postal
Service Commemorative sleeve.

Each of the eight envelopes is in pristine condition and includes a
vintage early 1900’s photograph of a county locale, and is hand
cancelled with a Wise County sesquicentennial stamp dated October
2006.
