Recently I provided information about the Map Division at the New York
Public Library, and, specifically, referred to a set of maps of Hungary
which might be helpful in genealogical research. I just received this more
complete information from a librarian in that division, which I'd
like to share. Since, as it turns out, this set of maps has not yet been
entered in their online card catalog, CATNYP, the information below will
make it easier if one want to inquire about them:

The NYPL writes:

Just as a clarification; - K.u.K. is the abreviation of 'Kaiserliche und
Konigliche' (= Imperial and Royal) title of the institutions that were
shared (such as military) under the Dual Monarchy.
